Van Buren County John Doe was a man whose body was found washed up on the beach from Lake Michigan. Based on wind and weather conditions, investigators believe he could have washed up from anywhere between Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, or even Minnesota. Police consider drowning to be the probable cause of death.
He is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project. He is believed to be of Korean or Chinese descent.
