Toronto Jane Doe was a woman whose remains were found under a cement floor in 1995. She had been beaten to death, possibly with a hammer, sometime around 1949.
She was initially identified as Dorothy Cox who disappeared in 1942 or 1943, but this was later ruled out after a DNA comparison.
