"Francisco Melendez" was the possible name of a man whose remains were found in a submerged vehicle in Lake Arlington in Fort Worth, Texas.

The deceased's remains were found inside a 1972 Oldsmobile wagon that was submerged in Lake Arlington. The car's plates expired in 1980. It's believed the car had been in the lake for at least a year, or as early as 1980. No positive identification was ever made even though identifying papers were found near the body. NamUs lists his possible identity as Francisco Melendez Rivas, born in 1921.
