Tangerang Jane Doe was a teenage girl whose body was discovered on the side of the entrance to the Karang Tengah toll road in the Ciledug district of Tangerang, Indonesia. On 23 July 2022, authorities in the Ciledug district of Tangerang were alerted to the sighting of a girl's body on the side of Jalan Parung Jaya, near the entrance to the Karang Tengah toll road and Puri 11. Upon arrival, authorities noted bruising around the girl's neck, she was lacking shoes, and her hands had several abrasions and scars. Her body was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for an autopsy, where the medical examiner found that she had also sustained blunt-force trauma to her chest, likely from being beaten. It is thought that she had been deceased for at least three days, but it could not be determined how long her body had been lying near the toll gate.
