Unidentified Wiki

Susan M. Glaser was a woman whose partial remains were discovered in 1998 in Wisconsin. She was identified in 2014, although due to the ongoing investigation into her death, this was not announced publicly until April 2016.

Case[]

Glaser disappeared under suspicious circumstances in 1995. A family member reported her missing to police on October 19 of that year but said they had not seen her since July. Glaser's estranged boyfriend reportedly made suspicious comments about her disappearance before dying by suicide in October 1995.

Glaser's pelvis and some vertebrae were found in the Tomorrow River in Amherst in 1998, inside a wooded area, along with some clothing.

Police submitted her DNA to a missing person database in 2014, which led to the identification of her remains. She remains listed on NamUs because only partial remains were discovered.
