Sunshine April Hilda Wood (born April 6, 1987), also known as "Sunny," was a teenager who was last seen outside of a hotel in Winnipeg.

Sunny was a member of the Manto Sipi Cree Nation and grew up in God's River, Manitoba. As a child, she spent a brief period of time in foster care.

In September 2003, Sunny moved from God's River to Winnipeg for school. She was enrolled in Gordon Bell High School. At first, Sunny was living with family members but eventually moved in with a woman named Priscilla. Sunny's father, Anthony Wood, doesn't know how his daughter met Priscilla.

Anthony describes Sunny as "a girl who loved to laugh" and said she was a typical teenager who liked hanging out with friends.

The last time Sunny was seen was at 11:45 P.M. She was standing at the front of the St. Regis Hotel on 285 Smith Street with several hotel patrons. Security camera footage caught Sunny smiling and holding a door open for a man. It is unknown if this man has been identified and/or questioned.

Anthony learned of his daughter's disappearance the next day when he'd traveled to Winnipeg to visit family.

Sunny's disappearance is out of character for her. She wasn't a chronic runaway nor did she have issues with drugs or alcohol. However, Sunny has been described as "street smart" and is acquainted with many people living in Downtown Winnipeg.
