St. Tammany Parish John Doe was a man whose body was discovered at PittGrill restaurant located in Slidell, Louisiana during December of 1998.
It is believed he become stuck in a vent chute over the grill after sneaking in through a chimney. Positional asphyxia and suffocation are believed to be the leading causes of his death.
The restaurant had been closed down during this time and was up for sale, which lead to his body being found at a later date. While the building was being inspected one day for a possible sale, the man's mummified remains were finally discovered.
