Paula disappeared on August 3, 1986, when a relative dropped her off at her home. Her remains were discovered by hunters in a wooded area on March 13, 1989. No cause of death could be determined.
In April 2023, Paula was linked to the set of remains found in 1989. Police announced they have persons of interest in her case, but they haven't identified a suspect. They are treating her case as a possible homicide.
