Case[]

Carl Horne, also known as Kurt Kussman, confessed to killing the decedent after being accused of an armed robbery in Texas. Horne pleaded guilty to manslaughter of the decedent and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

The victim was picked up in Alabama and hitchhiked through St. James Parish with Horne when he was stabbed to death and disposed of in tall grass in Gramercy, St. James Parish, Louisiana, one mile north of U.S. Route 61.
