Template:UIDSpokane John Doe was found in the Spokane River in 1989. He was in the Nine Mile region, which is in northwest Spokane. While it's unknown how he got to be in the river, he was found to have incurred a scull fracture and other bodily injuries, leading authorites to beleive he was the victim of a homicide; these injuries very possibly occurred prior to his entering the river.

He was found with a white metal necklace with a defective clasp (it was held together with a paper clip), from which hung a yellow metal cross. He was also wearing a pair of dark colored size 7 HI-TEC brand boots, a pair of bluish socks with white trim, a light pair of denim jeans, a long sleeve button down shirt that was frayed along the lower waist, and a T-Shirt that had gray & maroon horizontal stripes. He also had a tattoo on his left bicep that probably read "RICH;" the R, C, and H were clearly visible, as well as a porion of the second letter, which possibly is an I. It was not a professionally done tattoo. DNA for the victim is available, but not fingerprits.
