Sharon Lee Gallegos, (September 6, 1955 - c. July 21, 1960) previously known as Little Miss Nobody, was a child found in a desert in Arizona in 1960. She had been abducted from her home in New Mexico ten days before.

She was identified by Othram, Inc. in March 2022.

Case[]

Gallegos was kidnapped by an unidentified male and female behind her Alamogordo, New Mexico residence on the afternoon of July 21, 1960. The abductors had reportedly attempted several times to lure the child into their vehicle, described as green in color, before they were successful.

Ten days later, her body was discovered in a shallow grave in a desert near Congress, Yavapai County, Arizona. Her cause of death was not successfully determined, yet the manner was ruled to be homicide. She was buried in a shallow grave and a pocket knife with blood on it was near the scene; there was also evidence of burning.

She was exhumed in 2018, where a facial reconstruction was created for the first time. Examination of her skeleton suggested she was most likely between three and six when she died, and she was probably stood at about 3'6.

Gallegos was considered to be a potential identity for the then-unidentified child at an early stage of the investigation, although she was excluded based on the age discrepancy. In addition, the child’s painted nails and potentially dyed hair was inconsistent with the Gallegos family. Footprints were also compared by the FBI, which was said to not match.
