Unidentified Wiki

Schwarzburg John Doe was a man whose skeletal remains were found alongside the body of another man in the autumn of 2002.

He was identified in May 2006 but his name was not publicly released.

Case[]

The two men were believed to have been from Russia or Kazakhstan and were unrelated. While his cause of death could not be determined, he is not thought to have died of natural causes.

Clothing that had been worn by the other decedent, including a thick winter coat, implies that the deaths of these two men had most likely occurred in the fall or winter season of 2000 or 2001. It was also noted that the clothing in question had been purchased no earlier than June 2000.

In May 2006, it was announced that one of the two men was a 47-year-old Armenian. The other man's identity remains unknown. Both were believed to have been killed by a gang of felons involved in drugs and theft.
