Sarai Llanos Gomez was a woman whose remains were found in a wooded area near a road in Flowery Branch, Georgia, in June 2022.
She was identified the following month as Sarai Gomez, a 19-year-old mother of two who had recently immigrated from Ecuador. She may have been a victim of sex trafficking before her death.
In August 2024, a man from Duluth, Georgia, was convicted of malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault in Sarai's case. He was sentenced to life in prison.
