Saline County John Doe was a young man who burned to death near the Marshall City Landfill 1.5 miles north of Marshall Township, Missouri on October 23, 1960. Although the cause of the fire is unknown, it is suspected that his death was an accident.
He was buried at the Saline County Poor Farm Cemetery on October 31, 1960.
