Ruth Sharon Hoffman (1942 - c. 1986) was a woman who went missing in 1986; her remains were recovered the same year, but she went unidentified until 2013.
Case[]
Hoffman went missing in 1986 the day after she was raped by two men after she had left the bar. She was not listed as missing by the police until 2005.
In late 1986 her remains were discovered. It is believed she was murdered by the same men to avoid her from reporting the rape to police.
