"Roy" was the possible name of a male who was murdered during the mid-late 1970s in the southeast area of the United States. His remains have not been located or linked to an existing unidentified person case.
Case[]
The Crime Analysis Unit of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation received information from a witness. Because the witness was only six years old when the alleged murder happened, the GBI admitted that the details are "sketchy."
According to the witness, the victim was a white male named "Roy" who was a caretaker of a farm for an older white female named "Quincey." For unclear reasons, Roy was beaten to death with a fire poker and buried in the woods behind his house between 1975 and 1979. It is unclear where the alleged murder happened, but it could have occurred in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Texas.
