Rock County John Doe was a man whose remains were found in a concrete culvert by a Department of Transportation worker tasked with unplugging it.

The previous cleaning of the ditch and culvert was undertaken on October 21, 1980, with no remains being noted at that time. The skeleton was appropriately clothed.

  • Green cotton work type pants with a leather type belt. Inseam 281/2 to 29 inches, waist 32 inches.

  • Leather slip-on engineer type boots, light tan to white in color, size 8-9.

  • Small metal locket with a picture of a baby's face.
