Robert Bresson was a middle-aged man who was last seen in the spring of 1995 in Why, Arizona. On October 5, 1995, his remains were buried in shallow grave off Forest Road 418 and near North Highway 89 northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona. His cause of death was two gunshot wounds to the head.
Identification[]
In August 2016, his remains were identified by DNA technology. His murder remains unsolved and is under investigation by the Coconino County Sheriff's Office Cold Case Squad. Since Robert had ties to Lincoln, Nebraska, and Independence, Iowa, investigators hope someone in those areas has information on his disappearance and/or murder.
