Redondo Jane Doe was a woman whose headless skeleton was discovered in 2001. Her remains were stuffed in a plastic bag in the backyard of a new home site in Redondo Beach, California.
She is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project. Admixture testing in 2021 found that the woman was over 99% Sub-Saharan, indicating she was most likely African American.
