Racine County John Doe was a man who was discovered in Lake Michigan near Racine, Wisconsin in September 14, 1954.

Case[]

The victim was discovered at nighttime near the shore at the end of Goold Street by a group of children. The next day, Coroner Bernard Evenson took x-rays at St. Luke's Hospital and Dr. E.S. Olson, a hospital pathologist, conducted a postmortem examination. A dental chart was also created.

The dental chart was forwarded to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to compare with a dental chart of Dr. George E. Thill. Thill, along with his three of his children, were presumably killed when their plane crashed in Lake Michigan off Wind Point on January 6, 1952. Additionally, a man from Highland Park, Michigan named Robert Bock asked for the dental chart to compare it with the chart of his brother, Kenneth. According to Robert, Kenneth disappeared on January 5, 1954 and his car was located near the yacht club in Waukegan, Illinois.

No further details if any of the comparisons were ruled in or out. Additionally, it is unknown if the dental chart is still available for comparison.

The victim was buried in Plot 349 of East Meadows Cemetery in Racine.
