Prince William County John Doe was a young male that kidnapper and murderer Michael Carl George confessed to killing sometime in the 1980s. His remains have not been recovered or linked to an existing unidentified person case.

Case[]

On October 10, 1990, Paul Ebert, the county attorney for the Commonwealth of Prince William County, stated in press interviews and the Prince William County Circuit Court that Michael George, a man with a history of sexual violence against teenage boys, confessed to killing three victims. His first victim was Larry Perry, who disappeared from Dumfries, Virginia, on May 22, 1979, and whose body has not been found. George was previously convicted of manslaughter in Perry's case. His second victim was Alexander Sztanko, who was sexually tortured and shot on June 16, 1990, in Woodbridge, Virginia and whose murder George was being charged with at the time of the confession.

His third victim was a young boy whom George confessed to killing within the last ten years before the confession. George had picked him up at a McDonald's in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge. He also confessed to how he killed this victim but did not name him. No further details of the victim, including a description of the victim, were released.

Authorities in Prince William and Stafford counties attempted to match George's details to any unsolved cases or missing persons reports they had on file. However, neither of the Virginia counties had any unsolved murders of young boys in their jurisdictions. Authorities also looked into Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where George spent time, but nothing came out of that inquiry either.

George was eventually convicted of Sztanko's murder due to the overwhelming evidence against him, and he was executed on February 6, 1997.
