Pottawattamie County Jane Doe is a woman found in fifty-five gallon barrel near Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 6, 2006.

The victim was discovered in a barrel by mushroom hunters in rural Iowa near Council bluffs. She may have been dead for up to 25 years. After she was discovered, officials asked a forensic anthropologist at Kansas State University for assistance and the Lee company was also asked to track the history of the jeans found in the barrel with her. It is unknown if any of the assistance requested obtained any leads.

Some people theorize she is a victim of John Edward Robinson AKA The Internet Slave Master/The Internet's First Serial Killer. While Robinson has never been officially connected to this victim and her homicide, Robinson had a business partner in the area and long stretches of his time remain unaccounted for. Between 1984-1999, Robinson killed eight women in Missouri and Kansas. He would elaborate ruses to promise women high paying jobs and have them sign over money or other assets to him. He would kill them with two blows to the head and dumped them in chemical barrels. His first three victim's remains, Paula Godfrey, Lisa Stasi, and Catherine Clampitt, have never been recovered. Iowa forensic experts were to check if any of the three women were the victim, but it would appear they were ruled out as they are still considered missing.
