Philippi John Doe was a man who was found beaten to death on the Bernie Oelof Farm in Punt Road at Philippi, South Africa. He is believed to have been a farm worker murdered by serial killer Jimmy Maketta. Few details of the victim's description are available.

Between April and December 2005, Maketta assaulted and killed farmworkers on Friday nights in and around Phillippi. In May 2007, he pleaded guilty to 16 counts of murder, 19 counts of rape, and 12 other counts of housebreaking, assault, kidnapping, theft, and attempted murder.
