New Britain Jane Doe was a woman who was found deceased near railroad tracks on Myrtle Street in New Britain, Connecticut.

She is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project, and so far, the results showed that Jane Doe had many matches from Puerto Rico. Over 75 people have been ruled out as being the decedent.

Case[]

On October 11, 1991, the decedent was found by railroad tracks near the now-defunct Fafnir Bearing Company in New Britain, Connecticut. She had died of a gunshot wound to the head and had been at the location between 3 weeks to 4 months. It is believed she was not reported missing from New Britain.

In 2013, the decedent's body was exhumed in order for law enforcement to make a likeness of what she looked like in life, which was then updated in 2018. She was re-buried in an unmarked grave after.
