Neustadt Jane Doe was a woman who was found on the A3 Highway after being struck by a vehicle in Neustadt (Wied), Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
Case[]
On 7 August 1991, the body of a woman was found around 10 PM on the A3 Highway toward Cologne. She was discovered lying in the middle lane and was noted to have been run over by at least one vehicle.
According to an isotope analysis, she may have ties to Switzerland or Scandinavia.
In March 2022, the police released a photo believed to be the woman. The photo was taken in a pub named Brückeck in Cologne, close to where her body was found in 1983, 8 years before she died. The two men in the foreground have been identified. However, the man talking to the woman remains unknown.
