Moscow Jane Does are multiple female children and young women whose skeletal remains were found buried near the villa of Lavrentiy Beria, a Soviet politician and former head of the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD) on 2 April 1993. It is believed they were raped and eventually murdered either by Beria himself or under his orders.
