Morgan County Jane Doe was a woman who was found floating in the backwaters of the Flint Creek and Tennessee River near the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge.
On the morning of July 31st, 2020, a fisherman was boating in the backwaters of the Flint Creek and Tennessee River when he spotted what he believed to be a body in the water. Immediately, the authorities were called and the decedent's body was recovered from the water. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the woman's body did not match any local missing persons reports, nor was her autopsy conclusive. Currently, authorities are attempting to see if her DNA matches any DNA recorded in the law enforcement databases.
