"Monique" was the nickname given to a woman found in Phoenix, Arizona.

She is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project. Genealogical research has revealed that she has distant family in Mississippi. She also has ancestral ties to Copiah County, Missouri.

She was found in an abandoned 2-door blue Honda Accord with partial AZ plate VRS353 at North 24th Street and East Monroe Street at around 7:00 PM on February 4, 1997. She was a known transient who was sleeping in the car when it caught fire. The car was not hers and was not registered in the state of Arizona. She is believed to have died of smoke exposure. Her body was too burned for fingerprints, but her DNA was collected and uploaded into CODIS. She is buried at the White Tanks Cemetery in Goodyear, Arizona as "Jane C. Doe".
