Unidentified Wiki

Milam County Jane Doe was a young female who was found beaten to death in 1986 in Rockdale, Texas.

Case[]

A telephone repairman found the victim face down, naked, and unrecognizable in Milam County, Texas, at 1:45 p.m. on November 4, 1986. The site was located in the grass along Highway 77, seven miles south of Rockdale, Texas. No suspects or leads have ever come forward in her case. Authorities exhumed her body on November 6, 2006, but her jawbone and maxilla were missing from her grave. A 3-D reconstruction cannot be done without these.

However, her skull, along with autopsy photos of the jaw and maxilla, was sent to a forensic sketch artist who created a 2-D drawing. According to the Doe Network, her dental X-rays and DNA are available and can assist in identifying her.
