Unidentified Wiki

Miami-Dade County Jane Doe was a woman whose remains were found in a field in Kendale Lakes, Florida. The skeleton of a horse was also found nearby.

Case[]

In July 1973, two workmen were working to tear a man-made lake into a field when they discovered the decendent's skull in a dirt pile. Authorities arrived and dug the rest of her bones from the dirt, which were in a 'mangled' position. Some of the remains still had decaying flesh and clothing attached. Her shoes were found 50 yards away from each other. Her underwear was torn and blood stained. A dead horse was found about 10 feet away from the remains.

The horse is believed to have died at the same time as her, but it is unlikely she rode it because she is believed to have had some painful bone conditions.
