Marta Marie June, known as Baby Jane Doe while unidentified, was a girl who was murdered by her father in 1986.

Marta and her mother, Renee June, vanished from Berkeley, California, on August 2, 1986. Two years later, Marta's body, clad in a shirt that read "I'm adorable", washed up in Tiburon, California. Unable to identify her at the time, she was dubbed "Baby Jane Doe", and the case grew cold. Four months later, Renee's body was found buried in a remote area of Humboldt County, California, but the cases remained unconnected.
In June of 1992, Marta's father, Arthur Mount, committed suicide in Blaine, Washington, after becoming a suspect in Renee's murder and Marta's disappearance. In a suicide note, Mount asked for forgiveness for "sins", the nature of which he did not specify.
Almost a year later, Marta's remains were identified by comparing DNA extracted from her bones to both her parents. While Mount never explicitly confessed to Marta and Renee's murders, he is presumed to be responsible.
