Mangbangu Doe was an individual found in the forest around the village of Mangbangu, Democratic Republic of the Congo on 13 April 2015. They were discovered a day after the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a Christian fundamentalist militant group regarded as a terrorist organization, staged an ambush against the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) in the area. The ambush left eight FARDC soldiers missing in action.
At the time of discovery, there was no indication if the unknown individual was a member of the LRA, the FARDC, or a civilian caught in the crossfire. No description of the individual is also available, and no further updates are available either.
