Malquan Tyreek Hawkins was a man who drowned in a resort pool in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
He was seen by security earlier in the day, trying to get into the same pool. He was denied entry when he said he was not staying in the hotel. It is not clear how he managed to get into the pool a second time.
He was identified by Othram on October 31, 2025, after his biological family was contacted. Hawkins was adopted at an early age and was last known to have lived in the New Hanover County area of North Carolina after aging out of foster care.
