Malibu John Doe was a man whose body was found washed up on a California beach.

Case[]

Locals found a man washed ashore on a Malibu beach on January 2, 1986. The man spent a short time in the water, as he died after the beginning of the new year.

There are several indications that the decedent had originated from Europe. The victim was found with a large quantity of Swiss currency and American currency. He also had several articles of clothing that appear to have originated from Spain and Portugal.

The coroner was surprised by the excessive size of the clothes in relation to the body. Above all, he noted the presence of a piece of white and red fabric, probably cut from a sports t-shirt, encircling the drowned man's neck with a double layer.
