Macomb County Jane Doe was a female whose flesh and fatty tissue was found in a sewer.
Case
Pieces of flesh and fatty tissue were discovered in a sewer on August 15, 2012. They were determined to have come from an obese white female.
The remains of two other people have since been found under similar circumstances, one in December 2012 and one in September 2013. It has been theorized that all three people are still alive and the remains were surgical waste that had been disposed of improperly, although it is also possible that they were victims of homicide, possibly by a serial killer.
