Lori Brown

Lori L. Brown was a woman whose scattered remains were found in a wooded area in Raeford, North Carolina, in 2024.

She was identified in March 2025 after police connected the remains to Brown's missing persons' case and used a DNA sample from a relative to confirm their suspicions. No foul play is suspected in her death and after being identified her case was closed.

There were alleged sightings of Brown alive in September 2023, almost four years after she disappeared, but these could not be confirmed.
