London John Doe was a man who fell from a plane in 2019. He is believed to be a stowaway, possibly from Kenya.

Case[]

On 30 June 2019, a man's body had fallen into a back garden in London's Clapham district, less than a metre away from where the homeowner was sunbathing. The man's body was reportedly 'frozen solid' and had sustained traumatic injuries, but it is unknown if he died upon impact or was already dead.

It was later determined that the man had stowed away in a wheel well of a Kenya Airways flight travelling from Nairobi to London. The plane had originated in Johannesburg, South Africa before landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya before it ultimately took off for London. It is believed the man was from Kenya, based on Kenyan currency found with the body, but authorities cannot rule out the possibility that he came from South Africa. Due to the high levels of security at the airport, it was speculated that the man may have been an employee.

In November 2019, it was reported that the body had been identified as 29-year-old Paul Manyasi, who worked at as a janitor at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. However, it was later revealed that Manyasi's family was bribed into telling the media that the dead man was their son. Furthermore, there was no record of a Paul Manyasi having ever worked at the airport. The man's real name was Cedric Shivonje Isaac, and he was alive and in prison in Nairobi.
