Linda Lee St. Germaine was a preteen who disappeared in 1973 in New York. She is believed to have fallen through the ice and drowned.
Case
After a fire destroyed her home, Linda told her brother she was running away to Burlington, Vermont by walking across the frozen Lake Champlain. Footprints were discovered from her motel unit, leading to an area of thin ice. Her body has never been located, but she is presumed to have drowned after falling through the ice.
