Leonard Bernard "Lennie" Branzuela (born December 22, 1960) was a man who disappeared into the water by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge in 1993.
He was a championship wrestler at Lowell High School in 1993. He went to the flat of his mother after getting a haircut, but she was not home. He then went to a Mexican restaurant to have lunch, then went back to the apartment; after which he had proceeded to wait for his mother in the restaurant.
Later, he apparently took a bus to the Marina Green which is about a mile east to the Golden Gate Bridge. Someone saw a body floating in the water just that time and his wallet was found on the bridge's eastern sidewalk. Eighteen days later, his family became aware of his presumed death. His mother sued the bridge management for the wrongful death of her son, but the case was dismissed.
To this day he continues to be listed as a missing person.
