Laura Ayala was a teenage girl who disappeared in 2002. Foul play is suspected in her case.
Case
Laura was last seen purchasing a newspaper for a school assignment during the nighttime. Laura's shoes and newspaper were later found strewn inside a parking lot.
Walter Sorto, Edgardo Cubas, and Eduardo Navarro have been suspected in her case. They are believed to have been on a spree of robberies, rapes, and murders in Laura's hometown. Laura's blood was located in a car belonging to Cubas' father, along with semen belonging to one of the suspects. No charges regarding Laura's case have been filed, but the three suspects have been uncooperative with Laura's investigation and were charged for other homicides. Laura continues to be missing.
