Template:UIDAnderson County Jane Doe was a woman who was found dead in a lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Her body was found nude by a couple of fishermen who then contacted the Oak Ridge Police Department. Police believe the woman died due to drowning, but suspect homicide was the main intent.

Her ears were pierced and investigators believe she had scoliosis. No signs of childbirth were also found.

Theories

  • While unverified, It is theorized that she may have been a victim of an unreported kidnapping. It is possible that her family may not be aware that she is missing or deceased.
  • She may have drowned accidentally while trying to escape or hide from her captors.
  • Her drowning may have been staged to appear as if it was accidental.
  • She may have been from a neighboring town or another state.
  • She may be a drifter or a transient.
