Kine Sano (c. 1927 - 11 March 2011) was an elderly woman who was killed during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. Her partial remains were later found in the sea near Kamaishi during August of that year.
She was identified in June 2023 through mitochondrial DNA analysis. However, her identification was not made public until August.
Her identification was announced alongside Ken Kinoshita and Yoshiko Yamada.
