Kareem Jabbor Law Sr. (January 18, 1972 - c. January 5, 2005) was a man whose burned remains were found in Detroit, Michigan.
He was identified in January 2020.
Case[]
On January 5, 2005, a fire broke out at Law's house in Detroit, Michigan. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set, yet Law was unable to be located. Three months later, the burned body of a man was found behind a garage in Detroit.
Identification[]
In 2019, Operation UNITED was founded to identify the remains of unidentified murder victims in Detroit. In January 2020, Law's brothers submitted their DNA, and law enforcement confirmed the remains as belonging to Law. It is suspected that Law was murdered, and his house and body were set on fire afterwards.
