"Juan Miguel Velazquez Navarro" was the possible name of a teenager or young man who was found near the Shuck Toak Farms property in Pima County, Arizona, on August 10, 2003. His case number with the Pima County Medical Examiner is 03-01362.

He is currently undergoing testing by the DNA Doe Project.

Case[]

The decedent was traveling with a group of migrants when he was left behind in the desert. The group he was with later asked a utility crew to call for assistance, after which the authorities were alerted, and his body was recovered. The discovery site was within the Tohono O'odham Reservation and part of the Sasabe migrant corridor. His cause of death was determined to have been probable hyperthermia due to exposure to the elements. His manner of death was ruled as exposure.

The decedent carried an identification card for a 19-year-old "Juan Miguel Velazquez Navarro" bearing a fingerprint that did not match his own. A picture of a man was also on the card, but it cannot be verified as the deceased. It was also not determined whether the card was a forgery or had been stolen from somebody else.
