John Barber was a man who passed away from tuberculosis in 1843. In 1990, his remains were accidentally unearthed in Griswold, Connecticut.
In November 2022, it was announced that the remains had been identified as being his, with Parabon NanoLabs providing a reconstruction of what he looked like. Before his identification, he was referred to as "The Connecticut Vampire" due to how his remains were mutilated during the New England Vampire Panic.
