James Allen “Jimmy” Dollison was a teenager found beaten to death in Kansas in 1973.

He was identified by Othram in April 2025.

Dollison was last seen alive by his family in late 1972, when he was aged 16. His parents reported him missing, but no trace was ever found of him.

Case[]

On April 18, 1973, a landowner found skeletal remains in a small stream in a wooded area 180 feet from 1550 Road, three miles southeast of Garnett in rural Anderson County.

The victim suffered injuries consistent with being beaten. Authorities were not sure if he died where they found him or if someone moved him postmortem.

Authorities believe he may have been a hitchhiker. Prior to his identification, investigators believed the victim was between 18 and 20 at the time of death.
