Jennifer McAllister was a woman who was discovered in New York in 2015. The victim was nicknamed 'Monique' by law enforcement for a tattoo present on her body, however, after her identification, the tattoo was found to read 'Konique', the name of her son.

She was identified in January 2023.

Case[]

Investigators discovered fragments of the victim's body in January and March 2015 in a park in Brooklyn, New York. Authorities never located her head. They nicknamed her based on a tattoo, although this may have referred to someone other than herself.

Initially, authorities believed she was of primarily European descent until DNA phenotyping indicated African ancestry. The results also provided potential details about her skin tone, hair, and eyes, which were previously undetermined because of decomposition. The testing allowed the creation of a likeness of her facial characteristics.

Isotope testing indicated she may have spent time in the northern portion of New York. She may have also resided in Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, or the northern New England states.
