Fred James "Jamie" Grow was a man found in a grassy area near Garfield, Arkansas.

He was identified in October 2022 by Othram Inc.

Case[]

Jamie was last seen in June 1981 when he traveled from his home in Arkansas to visit family in Colorado. Two women approached him and were later seen loading their belongings into his van. They have been identified and are not believed to be suspects.

His body was located near US Route 62, half a mile east of Garfield, about 30 feet from the intersection of the two main roads, partially hidden by underbrush near the railroad tracks. He was shot four times, execution-style, and then dumped at the location. There is a suspect in his case who is believed to have killed Jamie in a murder-for-hire plot gone wrong.

Jamie was buried in a cemetery in Bentonville, Arkansas, and his body was exhumed in 2019. With his DNA, Othram located a relative in August 2022. With that match, they were able to identify him.
