Irene Jacknife was a woman found in 1976 in a backyard in the Parkdale area of Edmonton, Alberta.
Jacknife was a member of Papaschase First Nation. She had four young children when she died and was reported missing to police, but her disappearance was not connected to the unidentified body for another 48 years.
She was identified in February 2024 through Edmonton Police's Project Match.
