Inez Garcia was a woman who disappeared from Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1952. There are different accounts regarding the circumstances of her disappearance. One story alleges she was drinking with her husband at a local bar. After they entered a vehicle, the two argued, and she jumped out. The second story recounts how Inez went out with friends in the evening and visited two bars after seeing her husband at lunch. She supposedly left with a stranger at 1 a.m. instead of joining her friends when they left at 11 p.m. after becoming very drunk. Her husband was the prime suspect in her disappearance and died in 1990.
In 2014, a few bone fragments were found buried under the floor of his garage. They are assumed to be Inez's remains, but this has never been confirmed.
